use tapestry 3.x components in tapestry 4.x?

I am thinking of cutting over to tapestry 4.x. I am using different components that I have either written or obtained via tassel in the 3.x release.

I would like to know if I have to rewrite my components or if I can just use them in tapestry 4?

thanks.

I believe they can be used in T4 as long as they don't define
engine services in the library.
