[jira] [Commented] (JUDDI-241) Implement Replication API
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JUDDI-241?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13755874#comment-13755874 ]
Alex O'Ree commented on JUDDI-241:
----------------------------------
Here's a questimate of what needs to happen
1) identify a way to authorize remote nodes for replication
- also, are replicating all data or a subset?
2) identify how to configure SSL with client cert for sync operations
3) looks like a given node connects to one or more upstream nodes to fetch changes, which means we'll need some kind of scheduled process that runs on a timer, such as quartz
4) add some new tables to keep track of node statuses
5) write lots of code
6) write lots of test cases
