One way to have your alien VM exist in the same vlan as CloudStack guest vms is use IP Reservation:

1) Apply IP Reservation in the guest Network.
2) Create your VM from XenCenter in the same VLAN as the guest network.
3) Assign static IP to that VM from reserved range.
