WRITE_XML_DECLARATION property issue

Hi,

I'm using Axis 1.2 for a WebServices project.
My requirement is to include XML Declaration in the request and response message.

But when I set WRITE_XML_DECLARATION property as,

soapmessage.setProperty(SOAPMessage.WRITE_XML_DECLARATION, "true");

And use, soapconnection.call (soapmessage, urlendpoint) > it results in SAXParseException.

Can anyone guide me, how to set WRITE_XML_DECLARATION  property in the request message ?
Has anyone tried the above code ? Please reply.
