Apache HTTP Server & Classpath Resources [OT]

We've been building an application with myfaces RI + tomahawk + ajax4jsf
and using tomcat during the development process. The web app that it
will be replacing runs on tomcat and is served through Apache http
server (along with other legacy web apps that will not be replaced at
this time).

When we tested our new application, we found that tomahawk and a4j
resources were broken, most likely due to apache trying to load those
resources from the file system, rather than letting tomahawk load them
through the jars.

Apache HTTP server and Tomcat integration is a very weak point for me
and I'm having trouble sorting through the vast amounts of info
available on the web to address this specific issue.

I'm hoping for any direction from sympathetic server admins or someone
like me who has waded through this before.

Thanks,

JR
