[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-8793) dist.apache.org is unavailable

Geoffrey Corey commented on INFRA-8793:
---------------------------------------

Unfortunately, dist.apache.org is tied to the svn master server. As you may (or may not) know, the svn master server is still undergoing emergency maintenance. Please watch http://status.apache.org and https://twitter.com/infrabot for update on the emergency maintenance.

Thanks!

> The Apache Knox team is trying to stage a release candidate. However, dist.apache.org isn't available at all - even just for browsing. It seems that there is no webserver up there.
> Once SVN is back we will need to be able to stage our RC and I want to make sure that this is not an additional blocker.
