Several pages in the documentation of the Assembly Plugin suggest to use deprecated goals:

 - [Filtering Some Distribution Files|http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-assembly-plugin/examples/single/filtering-some-distribution-files.html] and [Using Repositories|http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-assembly-plugin/examples/single/using-repositories.html] both suggests {{assembly:assembly}};
 - [Include Module Sources|http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-assembly-plugin/examples/multimodule/module-source-inclusion-simple.html] suggests {{assembly:directory}}.

Those should be updated so that only the goal {{single}} is used.
