Hi,

recently it is not possible to config [CronTriggeringPolicy|https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.0/log4j-core/apidocs/org/apache/logging/log4j/core/appender/rolling/CronTriggeringPolicy.html] to rollover also in the case log file is empty. For a requirement we want to have this feature.

Do you think if this is possible to implement?
