   do a local build of hadoop trunk and then build against that
   ```
   hadoop.version=3.4.0-SNAPSHOT
   ```
   
   if the nightlys are building, you could try them
   ```
   hadoop.version=3.4.0-SNAPSHOT -Psnapshots-and-staging
   ```
