Anybody got any idea where this @com.sun.jini.impl have been used for?

Well only to the extend that i got the javadoc-internals target working 
without complaining about it. :-)

Great! Can you enlighten us?
I assume this was used to flag code being part of the Jini reference
implementation as opposed to the Jini spec?
