Info required on axis2-1.7.0 release

Hi ,

I need to know when  axis2-1.7.0 version will be released.
Need to decide on upgradation from the current 1.5.5 version.
Any useful info is highly appreciable .

There are some effort to fix the outstanding issues and also a student is
working on a GSoC project improving the REST support in Axis2/C. But I am
not aware of any time line for the release of 1.7.0.
