[Feature Request] PuppetForge module for 'bigtop-deploy'

Hi BigTop Team,

Recently I try to write some example for BigTop 0.8.

I think it's good for beginner to use 'puppet' to deploy 'bigtop' on their
lab environment.
They can simply use "puppet module install bigtop/bigtop" to download
related puppet snippets in 'bigtop-deploy'.

https://forge.puppetlabs.com/modules

PS. I've told to 'Evans Ye' about the idea to have PuppetForge module of
'bigtop-deploy'. If I need to create a JIRA, please let me know.

Hi Andrew,

Yeap, it's been a while.
I keep my interest in BigTop since we meet last time in Taiwan.
I create an BigTop 0.7 auto-installation ISO on 2013.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/drbl-hadoop/files/0.7.0/bigtop-0.7.0_precise.iso/download
I shared how to deploy BigTop 0.7 on AWS on 2014.
http://github.com/jazzwang/vagrant-hadoop
Today I'll share how to deploy BigTop on Google Compute Engine in GCPUG.TW
:)
https://github.com/jazzwang/vagrant-gcp

It's great that Evans Ye became committor after you share your thought
about how to join the community.

Thanks always for your influence via sharing with the community :)

Hi Evans Ye,

I've created a JIRA for this improvement.

Great thanks for all the support of BigTop team.

Jazz, would you mind to create one?
Maybe you can just copy your message in mail there. :)

Strong +1 to the initial drop of Bigtop 1.0 puppet code. From that point on, we
can update anytime we do a release, I suppose.

Thanks,
Roman.

Yup. I think this is a great idea to promote bigtop.
The solution makes our puppet recipes and packages much easier to access by
users.
I think the only concern is how we're going to maintain the code on
puppetforge.
The easiest way is to ship the code to puppetforge once we released a new
version of bigtop.
Probably we can give this a shot in the upcoming 1.0 release, so that we
can have one more item to list in the announcement. :)
