Apache Ignite twitter

Whoever is running the @ApacheIgnite twitter account needs a little
assistance from their mentors in terms of what is and is not appropriate
on an Apache project's public face.

Thanks.

Just to clarify the situation for people, somebody claiming to represent
the Apache Ignite (incubating) project just retweeted a very sexist and
political tweet.

https://twitter.com/atDoyleFM/status/589926665486082050

This is highly inappropriate for an ASF branded account. I will be working
with the PMC group immediately to make sure that the tweet is deleted and
to verify that proper management of the twitter account is being done.

Thanks for the pointer, Rich,

The same person was involved by saying "did that, here's what to do to avoid it".

That is, he was part of the solution this time. Exemplary performance I would say.

That's a huge logic leap Andrew. And I appreciate you don't share such
illogical conclusions with everyone, unless you're 100% sure in their accuracy.

Regardless, this is the wrong venue for such discussions. I apologize and
will bring my concerns up at the right list.

Ok, that's true, but the same person has been involved in both cases, so
it's not a big logical leap.

It was not the same person. The only obvious pattern here is "Twitter"
and I'm not going to repeat my views on that. Please get your facts
straight before randomly accusing people.

I have to express a concern here - this sort of thing has happened before
with the same person on a different ASF account. A pattern is forming.

I am one of the project mentors and I'd like to close the loop on the topic.

The twit went out inadvertently because of the mishaps with the software
setup: basically wrong handle got used. The twit was deleted and we are moving
the account under TweetDesk control to prevent stuff like this from happening
in the future.

Thanks for bringing this up to the PPMC!
