No. I did not. From experience, these sorts of emails lead
down a very dark path.

We could accomplish the same thing by generating this HTML at
compile time. For that matter, we could probably dynamically
load a new module that outputs the message then delete the
module. :-)

So, did you reply?  If no-one has, I will.

It really is too bad we can't assume SSIs are enabled, because I
think this would be nicely fixed (for new installations, at least)
if the page said something like "installed on Web server
<!--#echo var="SERVER_NAME" -->".  Existing installations are,
of course, one of the crosses we get to bear for the original
ambiguous wording.
