MKS Source Integrity Plugin

Hi, a quick cursory google scan shows that some people were interested
in developing a maven scm plugin for MKS source integrity
http://www.mks.com

The pointers said to join this list and ask for help.

1) Has anyone done any work on this so far?
2) If not, can I get some pointers on how to get started?  I intend to
do this -- as our team has an immediate need for it.
