velocity 1.4 before bug 16707 (Blk) has been fixed?
hi!
just wanted to ask if velocity 1.4 gonna be released before the blocker bug 16707 has been fixed.

or in other words: does a bug marked as "Blocker" stop the release of further versions until it's fixed?

No - we'll fix in 1.5. That's an interesting problem, and I thought of
an easy fix, but wouldn't want to stop the 1.4 release as we're trying
to get it out this month (for ApacheCon maybe? that would be nice) and
we'd want to bang on a fix for something so elemental.
