TDK: No login required

I just created my second TDK application. I have only run ant init to set up
the new database, I have not edited any templates nor have I written any
Java Code. Unlike the first application I created, this one does not prompt
me to log in when I browse to appname/servlet/appname. Of course, after not
having been authenticated, most of the links on the Turbine Data Manager
page return errors. The biggest difference is that I launched Tomcat using
Eclipse and the sysdeo plugin. I can't imagine that this would influence the
application in such a bizarre way, however. Anybody have an idea what is
happening here?

Thanks,

Robert Douglass

Erasing the application and running the ant tasks over again corrected the
flaw. The question remains, how did it come to the state where no
authentication was asked for?
