Summary: formbean value is not getting set with null values
(multiple select box - formbean array mapping problem)
           Product: Struts
           Version: Unknown
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P1
         Component: Web Site
        AssignedTo: dev@struts.apache.org
        ReportedBy: saritha2k_m@yahoo.co.uk

hi,
I have used a formbean with an arrayList as a property & properly set it in the
page using logic:iterate. In the page, i have a select(multiple) control binded
with an array (this array is inside the class. & arrayList contains collection
of this class). when i select the values in the select control & submit in
button hit, it gives good behaviour. then i deselected the values in the
multiple select control & submitted the form.this time corresponding formbean
property(the array) should have empty value(or null value). but it is taking the
previously set value. The rewriting of values with null values is not taking
place. but if i give atleast one selection in the select box, then the
overwriting is happening properly.
All these things are happened when i have given 'scope=session' in <action ...>
of struts-config.xml
This is very urgent & please reply ASAP...
