XercesJ - Resources Directory?

Any chance of moving resources accessed through getResourceAsStream to a
common directory?  I don't know if this is of benefit to anyone else, but it
would certainly help me keep my VisualCafe project file up-to-date.  I
haven't worked with Java resources before, so let me know if there is some
reason the resources must be in particular directories.
