[jira] [Commented] (NUTCH-2647) Support for dummy X509 trust manager

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUTCH-2647?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16625736#comment-16625736 ]

Sebastian Nagel commented on NUTCH-2647:
----------------------------------------

+1 Works as expected. Indeed, expired or self-signed certificates suck. Thanks, [~markus17]!

What about adding a property which allows to enable the certificate checks (default = false)? - Should be a separate issue as it should be added to other protocol plugins as well.
