> I think it might be useful to create a way to see what sstables are being compacted into what new sstable. Something like an extension of "nodetool compactionstats". I think it would be easier with this feature to troubleshoot and understand how compactions are happening on your data. Not sure how it is useful in everyday life but I could use such a feature when dealing with CASSANDRA-7949.
