   Hi @trtcrd 
   It seems like the issue has been fixed in master now. The latest R binaries for GPU gave the following result
    print(pred_gpu[,1])
   [1] 0.4898844 0.4898844 0.4898844
    print(pred_cpu[,1])
   [1] 0.4898147 0.4898147 0.4898147
   
   on running your code. 
   
   
   Closing the issue since it is not reproducible . Feel free to reopen in case closed in error.
