thead pool in Tomcat 4.1

can any one suggest me how to configure Thread pool in tomcat 4.1.

my application users are 500.

Concurrent? Total? With what sort of workload?

To be perfectly honest the answers to the above questions don't matter. Try 
the default configuration. If that works, fine. If not, figure where the 
bottleneck is (*don't* guess - use a profiler) and fix it. Repeat until you 
get the performance you want (and maybe some head room for future growth).
