CVS Tag Diff not parsed correctly

Using the <cvstagdiff> task is getting confused with new and delete files.

The CVS diff output is as follows :-

File
mtcom/export/home/users/bv55user/wwwroot/html/branding/AH/summersun_02.gif
is new; current revision 1.1.2.1

The .XML output is as follows :-

<tagdiff startTag="MT_3_00_04_05" endTag="MT_3_00_04_06" >
	<entry>
		<file>
	
<name>export/home/users/bv55user/wwwroot/html/branding/AH/summersun_02.gif</

	</entry> 

It has not picked up the fact that it is a new revision and thus the
resulting XML when applied to a style sheet will make the file as removed.

Is there a particular CVS/Ant version combination.
