[jira] Created: (TAPESTRY-2156) Provide something like tapestry-blank.war

Provide something like tapestry-blank.war
-----------------------------------------

                 Key: TAPESTRY-2156
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-2156
             Project: Tapestry
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Examples
    Affects Versions: 5.0.11
            Reporter: Igor Drobiazko
            Priority: Minor

The maven archetype is a great possibility to learn Tapestry for users who are familiar with Maven.
But there is no possibility to start Tapestry app in an easy way for people not using Maven.

It would be great to have something like tapestry-blank.war which one could drop into Tomcat and start to learn Tap.
I think it would be enough to provide the result of the archetype for every release and to make it available on the homepage.

I strongly believe that such war file would make a lot of people overcome their inhibitions to use Tapestry.
Otherwise the maven antipathy results in a Tapestry antipathy for a certain group of developers.
