Jeffrey Heifetz resolved CB-4608.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Invalid
If I understand this correctly it would be related to manual editing of the platforms config.xml which should no longer be necessary.
If this is not the case please re-open with a more clear description

> Quick fix to this is just by adding <preference> tag into global's /www/config.xml . However, in the document, it is not stated as supported tag for all platforms and platform-specific document suggest editing <platform>/<project>/config.xml directly. It should not get affected by CLI build, though, if not all functions (especially 3rd party plugin addition) still cannot not supported by CLI.
