RE[2]: Another problem with tables in ADF + Facelets

I checked, and the error doesn't go away with facelets
1.1.6.

I assume it's a facelets bug. Adam, should I pass it on the
facelets list, or file an issue?

My major problem now is the IndexOutOfBoundsException in
restoreChildStampState () that occurs with most of my tables
when trying to leave the page (see below). I suspected some
whitespace that is taken for a column or so, but removing
whitespace did not help here.

Again, any help on that would be appreciated. It went fine
with ADF 10.x/Facelets 1.0.x.

Cosma,

Could we take this over to the facelets-user mailing list? Esp.
if your problems are also Facelets 1.0 vs. 1.1 related.

Thanks,
Adam

I have exactly the same two problems described by Frank. I'm using the
latest ADF Faces and MyFaces sources (updated and built yesterday)
with Facelets 1.1.7. My app server is the Oracle OC4J that comes
embedded with JDeveloper 10.1.3.

The very same page (except for the .xhtml extension and taglib
declarations) worked fine before configuring facelets support in my
project.

Don't know. How can I find out? I'm running a straight-forward Jboss 4.0.4
environment with MyFaces 1.1.2.

Switching back to facelets 1.0.x, all problems disappear right away (by just
changing the jars).

I'm now migrating to Myfaces-ADF 11, and this goes well so far. Main area of
work is the CSS changes. Is there up-to-date documentation available
regarding the skinning selectors?

Frank,

I haven't had similarly severe problems. What XML parser
are you using?

I'm still trying to. I meanwhile found that the problem is related to
upgrading from facelets 1.0.x to 1.1.x.

But Facelets 1.1.x + ADF is no fun. I have lots of problems. Pages rendered
half and freezing, various stack traces, and just because of the presence of
comments or whitespace. Unfortunately our application is very complex and
large, so it is hard to trace down the issues, and I'll probably need to
revert back facelets 1.0.x for now.

I will try the combination 1.0.x + ADF 11M7 next.

It's a Facelets bug, yeah. (Or, possibly, some
weird behavior in an XML parser that Facelets needs
to work around.) I'd file an issue.

This is puzzling. Could you post a quick sample snippet of
a table that has this problem?
