Even I get the same error, when I try to build the project using 
cruisecontrol. The manual build works ok. But till now I had been including 
the JUnit test cases too. But I tried removing the JUnit test cases triger, 
and this problem popped up.
I doubt if its the avoiding of JUnit tests that causes this problem.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Mismatch - popped element = task:ant finished 
target element = target:update
