Regarding List Control
Hello,
I want to show 1000 items in the list .But it was taking so much time.
Now I have to show 10 items at a time and on next click I have to show next 10 items. What control will be more beneficial?
How can we add this.
Thanks,
Seema

That may sound obvious to you, but did you turn on useVirtualLayout on the list's layout, so that the list can recycle renderers, instead of creating them for each item to display ?.

Yes list can show 10,000 items but it has taken 7-8 mins to renderer the list. This impacts performance. I will do profiling and let you know

Hi,

A list should easily be able to cope with a 1000 items and I've used a lists with 100,000 item without issues.
It may be an issue with your item render. Can you post some sample code so we can see what is going on.
Also try running your code through Scout or the Flash builder profiler and check to see where the issue is.
Thanks,
Justin
PS This is probably a better question for the user list as it's not about the development of the Flex SDK.
