Posibilty to run a script at each successful login

Hi,

Would it be possible to run a script at every successful login?
If a hook exists here and even better variables such as user name, mail address are passed, then for security reasons a mail could be sent to the user at each successful login.

I seem to recall similar queries in the past, and a few suggestions 
around how this might be handled.

It's probably worth a look at the user list archive to see if there's 
anything that might suit. Here's one thread at least:
