[1.4] force check in
I don't recall seeing instructions or a way to force a check in for 1.4.
Is there a way? I'm not even sure which file to edit by hand. Due to the
condition described in bug 41421, my demo site won't let anyone edit as
the index page is checked out by one user. Editing by hand would work
for this particular case.

As far as I know this feature is not yet implemented in 1.4.
Note that session informations are available in 1.4. That means we could
check whether a user (call him A), who has locked a document has still
an open session. If there is no session for user A we can offer to check
the document in to user B otherwise B should not be allowed to edit the
document. But as i said this feature is not implemented yet.
