Problem with post and jsp include directive
Hi, Here's my problem:
I have a servlet that acts as a controller, receiving post requests,
acting accordingly (doing database lookups etc) and then redirecting the
response to a suitable jsp template page. My problem is that I have a
jsp:include directive in one of these jsp pages. When I go to the jsp page
directly, the include works fine (it includes the output of another
servlet). When I use GET to access the main controller servlet and have it
redirect to this jsp page the include works fine. However, if I post to
this controller servlet (like I need to), it redirects to the jsp page
fine, but the include doesn't happen. No error is thrown or anything, its
like it is just ignored.
I see the same problem if I just post to the jsp page directly -- the
include directive appears to be ignored.
I'm running Tomcat 3.1
Any help is already greatly appreciated

Ok, well, I just figured out the problem. The request passed to the
included servlet has the same method as the original request. Duh. So I
changed things in the include servlet to look for a post and it works fine
now.
thanks anyway
