[jira] [Commented] (SAMZA-312) Standardize Scala version marker

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SAMZA-312?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14049298#comment-14049298 ]

Chris Riccomini commented on SAMZA-312:
---------------------------------------

I had this discussion on SAMZA-128 with Dan. I believe Scala's standards diverged between 2.9.2 and 2.10, so technically, we're doing the right thing. [~dispalt] introduced this to me, and I've had someone internally at LI tell me the same thing.

> Currently we specify Scala as either 2.10 or 2.9.2, one with the third version component and the other without. This is inconsistent; we should use either one style for both. We should probably drop the 2.9.2's extra .2 as all the 2.9 releases are intended to be compatible.
