output file using log4j

I want my output to be file.2003-04-29.log
is this the right way to initialize filename?

log4j.appender.A1=org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.A1.File=file
log4j.appender.A4.DatePattern='.'yyyy-MM-dd'.txt'
