   With the risk of taking this further off-topic, this is not entirely true!  I'm certainly motivated to fix, both for NetBeans and platform applications, and have tried to look at and reproduce this on numerous occasions.  I have _never_ managed to reproduce following any of the steps outlined.  Any dev on Windows looking and opening a PR isn't realistic right now.  @BruceKHaddon let's continue and follow up on the dev@ list or on #3962
