how to start and stop tomcat 5.5 from command prompt

Hi,
     I am user of Tomcat 5.5
   
    Till now I am starting and stopping tomcat from services or  from the system tray.
    Now I want to start and stop Tomcat 5.5 from command prompt.
   
    Hope I will get the response
