I would support this approach. I don't think that the letter is
written in such a way to be a public information. Not to mention
that I would prefer not to put yet another webpage out there for
some robot to steal my email address off of. (not that it could be
any worse than it is)
A press release would be more appropriate for public consumption. A
page describing tuning for benchmarks would be even better. A page
with some benchmark results would be the tits.
