Suggestions for configuration changes to improve response time of XML responses

Hello,

I have Sling installed in a WebLogic cluster with all Jackrabbit persistence
stores pointing to an Oracle DB via JNDI to Multipool Data Stores.  There is
only node data in the repository, no binary data, and we¹re seeing slower
than desired response times, of 2+ seconds for some XML get servlet
responses.   JSON get servlet responses seem okay.  Are there any
configuration options in Sling or Jackrabbit that could help improve
response time?
