Switch slider so that a 2.7.x release is the default (2.7.1, or, post SLIDER-981, 2.7.2). This should address issues like SLIDER-986

We've stayed with Hadoop 2.6 as its been stable and, apart from the logging, not enough major API changes to justify modifying slider to only work on 2.7.x releases.

2.7 has been out for a while now, and maybe it's time.
