[jira] [Updated] (DAFFODIL-1981) Support for textStandardExponentRep="" missing

Michael Beckerle updated DAFFODIL-1981:
---------------------------------------
    Priority: Minor (was: Major)

> Support for textStandardExponentRep="" missing
> ----------------------------------------------
>
> Key: DAFFODIL-1981
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DAFFODIL-1981
> Project: Daffodil
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Back End
> Affects Versions: 2.2.0
> Reporter: Steve Lawrence
> Priority: Minor
>
> The DFDL specification states if testStandardExponentRep is the empty string, then no exponent character separates the mantissa from the exponent, allowing numbers like "123+2" to be valid. However, the version of ICU used by Daffodil does not handle the empty string expontent rep correctly, and so this feature is missing.
