Apache ofbiz Desktop Based POS problem with linux envirment
Click on Button promo-->customer profile
open dialog box only once ,save sale dialog box is also opened only once after closing dialog Box not opened again.
every time need restart application.
I am using jdk1.6+ linux centos 6.3+ant-1.7
same problem with ubuntu12.4+jdk1.6 +ant-1.7
tried for both 10.04 & latest ofbiz11 having same probem

OKn that's what I thought: I don't reproduce on Windows. I will have a look with Mint that I have installed as dual boot...
I'd be interested to know if anybody is reproducing the same... ?

I am trying to use ofbiz POS only on linux machine (centos 6.3)

Step2- Downloaded apache-ofbiz10.04.zip.unzip it
Step3- make a build using ./ant run-install command
Step4- Run ofbiz pos using java -jar ofbiz.jar -pos
Step5 - Pos Terminal opened
Step6- Then first open the terminal register
Step7- Click on promo button
Step 8- click on customer profile Button
Step 9- system will open the dialog Box window to enter customer details.
Step 10- close the dialog box & again clcik on customer profile button , it
will not be opened
It is happening with all buttons that open dialog window on click
