[jira] [Commented] (VYSPER-328) One CPU goes to 100%

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VYSPER-328?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13466436#comment-13466436 ]

Bernd Fondermann commented on VYSPER-328:
-----------------------------------------

This is probably due to a infinite loop in BoshBackedSessionContext between
a. private void requestExpired(final AsyncContext context)
and
b. void writeBoshResponse(Stanza responseStanza)
a. calls b. in a while loop, but only if the request window still contains requests.
b. then returns immediately (if (isEmtpyResponse) return;), resulting in an endless loop

> When running Vysper, suddenly a thread consumes 100% CPU, while the chat application stays responsive. A profiler reports nearly 99% CPU time consumed in org.apache.vysper.xmpp.extension.xep0124.BoshBackedSessionContext#requestExpired.
