Deployment automation

Hi all,

I'm looking for best practices to automate the deployment of bundles. During development I'm using maven and the maven-sling-plugin, 

What about when you have multiple bundles? Do you simply invoke maven-sling-plugin multiple times?

What do you normally use to automate the deployment to the different environments?
