MessageStream does not support custom name for its operators (e.g. flat_map_1, flat_map_2), therefore, the auto generated metrics for such operators are challenging for users to associate their operators with the metrics.

This new feature allows users to provide custom name(s) for their operators which will be used as part of metric etc for easier access.
