As discussed and lazy consensus achieved, we remove Python 2
from Airflow Reference images. This is the last remnant of
end-of-life Python2 which we only support by means of
using PythonVirtualenv operator.
Removal of Python 2 binaries from the image does not mean that
Python 2 will not work, but we are not going to test it from now
on.

The PR most likely needs to run full matrix of tests because it modifies parts of the core of Airflow. However, committers might decide to merge it quickly and take the risk. If they don't merge it quickly - please rebase it to the latest main at your convenience, or amend the last commit of the PR, and push it with --force-with-lease.
