tomcat 4.1.24 can't work for symbolic link

i used some symbolic link for webapps/examples/WEB-INF/classes and 
webapps/examples/WEB-INF/lib  in tomcat 4.06 and it worked fine... when i 
upgraded it to tomcat 4.1.24 all these symbolic links don't work anymore...
