Most of the other non pubsub directories have slightly different permissions:

...
drwxrwsr-x 11 apbackup jackrabbit 19 Apr 22 2010 jackrabbit.apache.org
drwxrwsr-x 21 apbackup jakarta 27 Nov 3 17:16 jakarta.apache.org
drwxrwxr-x 30 apbackup james 46 Oct 21 10:21 james.apache.org
drwxrwsr-x 2 apbackup java 2 Jul 17 2006 java-repository
drwxrwxr-x 2 apbackup jmeter 4 Nov 8 08:33 jmeter.apache.org
...

Shouln't jmeter.apache.org be the same?

Ping?

This is the only part of the issue still left - I think it's probably just a question of running the following commands:

mkdir /www/jmeter.apache.org
chmod g+s /www/jmeter.apache.org
chgrp jmeter /www/jmeter.apache.org

This will allow JMeter to finally leave Jakarta and allow Jakarta to retire to the Attic.

Thanks.

Done.

Currently as the site is non-pubsub the old method of syncing from mino still applies.
I added a basic jmeter index page only.

It seems the DNS entry has been set up, however the top-level directory under /www is not yet present.

Would it be possible to create that, so I can start the process of moving the content across?

Note: I can update the jakarta .htaccess redirects once the new site is in place.

<danielsh> No, a vhost would also need to be set up.
