Mapping The WSDD Provider To The Provider Class

If I want to create a new provider (or extend an
existing one) I can write a new provider class. But
where does the Axis Engine map the Provider in the
WSDD to the provider class ?

e.g. provider="java:EJB" is mapped to EJBProvider

Also, there seems to be very thin docs on the exact
format of the WSDDs (esepcially the EJBs). Anyone seen
anything richer than what's on the site ?
