[VOTE] Release Slide2.1M1
Folks!
It is about time for the first milestone of the Slide 2.1 release. I
have set a new tag on the CVS HEAD called SLIDE_2_1_M1_RELEASE and added
RELEASE-NOTES-2.1M1 for further information. Distributions can be
found at
http://cvs.apache.org/dist/jakarta/slide/2.1M1
Please vote if this stuff shall be released on Tue, June 1st.

You are right :( However rebuilding, signing and uploading everything
again really is no fun.
If noone insists on it I would leave it as it is...

the only (unimportant) thing I have to niggle are the different
version extensions of the slide jar files
e.g.
2.1M1pre in jakarta-slide-server-bin-2.1M1.zip
2.1M1 in jakarta-slide-ant-webdav-2.1M1.zip

I don't have permissions on zip and tar.gz files in the location
you have given. I can read the asc and md5 files but ...
Did I something wrong? Must I log in any where?

No, not at all. It is an early release which will be rolled with only
partial features implemented. A beta release would indicate a feature
freeze.
