Recovery of deleted files

Is there any way to recover/undelete a version controlled resource?

[LOCALHOST:/slide/files/] C:\ $ put autoexec.bat
Uploading  'C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT' to '/slide/files/autoexec.bat' succeeded.
[LOCALHOST:/slide/files/] C:\ $ versioncontrol autoexec.bat
setting up VersionControl '/slide/files/autoexec.bat': succeeded.
[LOCALHOST:/slide/files/] C:\ $ delete autoexec.bat
Deleting '/slide/files/autoexec.bat': succeeded.
[LOCALHOST:/slide/files/] C:\ $

I've tried re-issuing a versioncontrol command (as per adding the file to a
workspace), with the following results:

[LOCALHOST:/slide/files/] C:\ $ versioncontrol  /slide/history/2901/1.0
autoexec.bat
creating versioncontroled Resource '/slide/history/2901/1.0' based on
'/slide/files/autoexec.bat' : failed.
Internal Server Error (500)
[LOCALHOST:/slide/files/] C:\ $
